This work stems from my childhood and young adult life. Growing up I was always in a go go go situation where I never had my own personal time and I was always doing something. This work is about my own growth and learning to take time to slow myself down for a little bit.
Being home this past year has led me to look back at my past and reflect on my own childhood and how I grew up. My home used to be full of life and activity, there was always something going on - now it’s empty to me. All these spaces are just vacant and lifeless
